On December 3rd, 2025, from 15:00 to 16:00 CET, Webinar 3, «Software Design and Development of Digital Tools for EVs,» will feature MAXIMA’s Konstantinos Kostopoulos (UPC), presenting «Development and Real-Time Implementation of a Digital Twin for EV Motors.» The session will demonstrate how digital twin technology can monitor and optimize electric motor performance in real time, supporting predictive maintenance and improved control strategies.

On December 10th, 2025, from 15:00 to 16:30 CET, MAXIMA’s Léa D’Amore (VUB) will present «Life Cycle Assessment for Eco-design of Electrical Machines» in Webinar 4, «Environmental, Criticality & Circularity Assessment of Materials and Components for EVs.» This session will explore sustainability and circularity in EV design, including strategies for resource-efficient manufacturing and environmentally conscious lifecycle management.

About the Full RHODaS Webinar Series
The series is a multi-part event featuring Horizon Europe projects, showcasing advances in EV technology and sustainability. The first two webinars, to be held on November 19th and November 26th, will cover EV powertrain design and thermal management systems, presented by experts from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Aarhus University, and IMB-CNM/CSIC. These sessions will set the stage for discussions on material innovation, vehicle efficiency, and thermal system optimization, creating context for the digitalization and sustainability topics explored in Webinars 3 and 4.
